Their shared passion for Brazilian music, Bossa Nova and Samba and their admiration for Brazilian composers like: Antonio Carlos Jobim and João Gilberto encouraged them to deeply explore the unique genre.

Rio project aims at presenting Brazilian music to music audience and enthusiasts in Egypt and the Middle East to expose it more and bring it to light, in addition to indulging in the adventure of rearranging some songs and world famous music pieces in Bossa Nova and Samba genre."
