"Jiggy is a Funk Pop band based in Cairo, covering James Brown, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars & more, the band formed in 2018 performing a lot of concerts that bring back the taste of groove and solid rhythm sound.

Funk is a music genre that originated in African-American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic danceable new form of music characterized by funky syncopated bass lines and steady infectious drum grooves which drove it to become one of the most popular genres in the 1970s and '80s.
